SETTING SAIL TO MOSCOW – SECOND TRY
Invited by the Russian Minister of Culture and supported by the Dutch Embassy in Moscow and the Russian Embassy in The Hague the Fools set sail to Sankt Petersburg – to hear that the Russian Minister of Defence had ordered a browbeating “Njet”. Indeed, Fools are Dangerous Elements To The State and used to be already mutilated or annihilated by Ivan the Terrible. At least, the Russian Institute of Theoretical Astronomy did succeed in having a planet being named “The Ship of Fools”. The Fools performed in the Petersburg “Park of Culture and Leisure”, in exchange for food, drinks and drawings of the ship. In Helsinki the Ship of Fools became an instant hit, when the public was lining up to reserve for the tickets. The same limousine that a week earlier brought The Stones to the stadium came to fetch the Fools for a TV-interview.
